ABOUT HIS
HEED International School (HIS) is a project of HEED Bangladesh. It is run by a Management Advisory Committee (MAC) headed by Dr. Elgin Saha, the Executive Director of HEED Bangladesh. HEED International School started its journey on 23 January, 2003.
The school has two branches. Each branch is headed by a Principal. The main campus of the school is situated in Mirpur. The other branch is located in Sadarghat.
Teaching in HIS is student-centered. Teachers follow the participatory method so that students are provided with an opportunity to play an active role in the class. Students’ creativity is given utmost importance. Students are prepared in such a way that they become adept in writing, reading, interacting, and in problem-solving. Strict discipline and a profound sense of pride set us apart from other institutions.

OUR MISSION
HIS serves middle class and lower-middle class section of people; bringing affordable and quality education to their door-steps. HIS does not compromise in its goal toward achieving and delivering academic excellence to its students.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- Provide a distinctive high quality education that prepares students for membership of global community based on mutual understanding, tolerance and shared humanitarian values.
- Introduce international standard of education at a reasonable charge/fee so that maximum number of students of the local community are able to achieve quality education.
- Build up honest, self-reliant, diligent and responsible citizens.
